Sue has been practising law since her admission to the profession in 1992. She became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2005 and Mediator in 2006.

In February 2004, Sue established FreedomLaw as Freedom Family Law at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast with a vision to provide a different approach to legal problem solving for clients.

Since then, three new offices have been added specialising in Family Law. Sue continues to lead the FreedomLaw team in delivering dynamic legal solutions to clients and making a positive difference in their lives.

Initially, Kym-Marie worked on the Sunshine Coast then in Brisbane for some time.  In 2000, she moved north to Hervey Bay, then Bundaberg and Rockhampton before settling on the Sunshine Coast at the end of 2007. Throughout her career, Kym-Marie has practiced mainly in family law and focused on almost solely on this area in recent years.

Abbi was admitted as a Solicitor after having completed part of her articles at Carter Capner Solicitors and the remainder with Evans & Company Family Lawyers. Abbi was educated at Aquinas College and attained her law degree at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Abbi also has a Bachelor of Arts (Justice Studies) from QUT.

Similarly, Abbi handles all aspects of family and de facto relationships law matters which range from simple divorces to complex litigation in parenting and property disputes.
